iTel A80 A671L ANTI CRACK DIAG PORT NOT WORKING FIX
Fixed: My iTel A80 (A671L) DIAG Port Wasn’t Working — Here’s How I Got It Back
Hey, so just wanted to share something real quick in case it helps someone out.
A couple of days ago, I was trying to fix up an old iTel A80 (model A671L — yeah, confusing name, I know). Anyway, the phone was powering on fine, but I couldn’t get DIAG mode to work no matter what I tried. Tools wouldn’t detect it, and I was stuck.
After messing around for a while (and almost giving up), I found a method that actually worked. It’s pretty simple once you know what you’re doing. Here's what I did.
The Problem
Basically, if the DIAG port isn’t showing up on your PC, you can’t do things like IMEI repair, QCN backup, or SIM unlocks. In my case, I had flashed the phone earlier, and something clearly went wrong.
Turns out, a few system partitions got corrupted, and anti-crack protection might’ve blocked some functions.
What You’ll Need
You don’t need anything fancy — just the basics:
- A Windows computer
- USB cable (decent quality)
- Pandora Tool (free to use)
- Two files:
- A dump file to fix the broken partitions
- The stock firmware (ROM) for the A80
- Step 1: Restoring the Dump File
This is the part that brought the DIAG port back to life for me.

Here’s how I did it:
- First, I turned off the phone completely.
- Booted it into EDL mode (Google it if you’re unsure — a test point might be needed).
- Plugged it into my PC.
- Opened Pandora Tool and loaded up the dump file.
- Hit restore — waited a few minutes.
Once it finished, the phone still booted — and boom — DIAG mode was back when I checked on the PC.
Step 2: Flash the Stock ROM — but Carefully
Just to clean things up, I decided to flash the original firmware. But there’s a catch here: if you flash over the wrong partitions, you could mess up your IMEI or network settings.

- NV_LTE
- TDFS
- TRANSEC
Here’s what I did:
- Loaded the firmware in Pandora.
- Unchecked those three partitions.
- Started the flash.
- Waited it out and rebooted the phone.
- The Result?
Phone booted up perfectly. DIAG port worked like normal, and the phone was smooth. No signal issues, no IMEI loss. Everything just… worked.
Quick Tips
- Install Qualcomm drivers if your PC doesn’t recognize the phone.
- Use a short, good-quality USB cable.
- Don’t panic if Pandora freezes for a second — just be patient.
- In Short
If you’ve got an iTel A80 (A671L) with a broken DIAG port, don’t give up on it. This method works. It’s just two main steps:
- Restore partitions with a dump file.
- Flash the stock ROM, but skip a few sensitive partitions.
