Flashing VIVO Y17s Using SP Flash Tool
Download and Install Mediatek Driver Autoinstaller
If Mediatek Driver is already installed on your computer, skip this step.
Otherwise, download and install the driver.
Download Stock ROM
Download the Stock ROM (firmware) for your Mediatek Device.
Extract the downloaded firmware on your computer.
Download and Extract SP Flash Tool
Download SP Flash Tool and extract it on your computer.
You should see the following files after extraction:
SP Flash Tool Extracted Files
Launch SP Flash Tool
Open
to launch the tool.
Load Scatter File
Click on the Scatter-Loading Button.
Locate and select the Scatter File from the firmware folder.
Click the Open button.
Start Flashing Process
Click on the Download Button to begin the flashing process.
Connect Device to Computer
Connect your Mediatek Device to the computer using a USB cable (ensure the device is powered off).
After connecting, press the Volume Down or Volume Up key for the tool to detect the device.
Flashing Process
Once the computer detects your device, the flashing process will start automatically.
Completion
A Green Ring will appear at the end of the flashing process.
Close SP Flash Tool and disconnect the device.
Success
You have successfully flashed or installed Stock Firmware on your Mediatek device.
Removing FRP (Factory Reset Protection) on VIVO Y17s
Open SP Flash Tool
Launch the SP Flash Tool on your computer.
Load Scatter File
Load the scatter file for your device.
ypass the Auth
Bypass the authorization requirement.
Go to Format Tab
Select the Format tab in SP Flash Tool.
Manual Format Flash
Choose the "Manual Format Flash" option.
Set Format Addresses
Enter the following addresses:
Begin Address [HEX]:
0x7508000
Format Length [HEX]:
0x100000
Start Formatting
Click on the Start button to begin the formatting process.
