Getting locked out of your own phone can be scary. Sometimes you forget your Google account.Sometimes you buy a used phone, and the old owner did not remove their account. This problem is
called FRP lock (Factory Reset Protection). It is a good security feature, but it causes trouble when you cannot unlock your phone.

What You Need Before You Start

Follow these steps one by one.
Step 1: Connect Your Phone
Open the ADB FRP Remove Tool on your PC.
Connect your phone to the PC with your USB cable.
At the bottom of the tool, you will see “DEVICE: Not Found” in red.
This is normal.
Step 2: Look at Your Phone’s Screen
This is the most important part.
After a few seconds, your phone will show a message:
“Allow USB debugging?”
You must tap Allow or OK.
Also tick the box that says:
✅ Always allow from this computer
After you allow it, look at the tool again. The bottom message will turn green and say something like:
“DEVICE: … device”
This means your phone is now connected correctly.
If you see “DEVICE: Unauthorized”
It means you did not tap “Allow.”
Unplug the phone, plug it in again, and wait for the pop-up.
Step 3: Choose a Method and Start
The tool has 3 methods to remove FRP. Try them in order.
✅ Method 1 (Fast and Easy)
Click FRP REMOVE (Method 1)
The log on the right will show each step.
You may see messages like:
“Removing old lock settings…”
“Clearing accounts…”
Wait for the progress bar to finish.
When it’s done, your phone will reboot.
If successful, the tool will show:
✅ FRP REMOVAL SUCCEEDED!
✅ Method 2 (If Method 1 did not work)
Click FRP REMOVE (Method 2)
This method tries to open Settings → Add Account on your phone.
The tool will say:
“Please add your Google account manually.”
Now check your phone and add any Google account.
After you add it, the device will unlock.
✅ Method 3 (Another way to remove lock files)
Click FRP REMOVE (Method 3)
The tool will try deleting all FRP lock files and open the login screen.
Again, watch for:
✅ FRP REMOVAL SUCCEEDED!
Step 4: You’re Done!
When the tool says SUCCEEDED, your phone is unlocked.
Now you can set it up like a new device.
Trouble-Shooting (Simple Fixes)
“Device not detected!”
Try a different USB cable
Try another USB port
Install your phone’s drivers
“adb.exe not found”
You moved some files
- Make sure all tool files stay in the same folder
- Nothing happens
- You did NOT tap Allow USB Debugging on the phone
